Your Guide To Denim By Chris Rovny (7)

So what exactly can be considered everyday jeans? I'd say they consist of any straight, relaxed (looser) or boot-cut pair that features four traditional pockets, a zipper or button-fly and standard loopholes, and is available in traditional colors (various shades of black, gray and blue). Everyday jeans should also feature minimal detailing. For example, you should avoid flashy stitching, excessive sandblast or dye treatments, pronounced front mustaches (bleached lines that contribute to a washed-out look), patchwork, and rips or frays.
